Handmade sterling and fine silver pendant made entirely from scratch for a beautiful round scenic dendritic opal (also known as merlinite). The stone has a gorgeous pale blue, white and black colour, and is a mixture of translucent and opaque opal with black moss-like patterns from oxides of metals like iron and manganese. This pendant has a secret, as a small crescent moon is hand-cut out of the back of the mount, so when you hold the pendant up to the light you can see hints of the moon through the semi-translucent opal. It measures approx. 31x22mm (opal is 21mm round).
