Frequently asked questions

Which countries do you ship to?

We can post items to the UK, Austria, Finland, Italy, Norway, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United States of America.

How long does delivery take?

We despatch in-stock items within 2 working days from purchase. For custom or personalised orders, please see lead time on description page.

For UK buyers, we will send your items by your choice of either Royal Mail 1st class (£3.95) or Royal Mail Special delivery by 1pm (£7.95; fully insured up to £500).

For International buyers, we will send your items by registered international tracked & signed for post (£15.00). This typically takes anywhere between 3 to 5 days within Europe, and 5- 7 days to the USA. These delivery timescales are estimates and not guarantees. You are responsible for any import duty or fees incurred when receiving international items.

We always retain proof of postage and will keep you informed throughout your order.

Why do certain items need hallmarking?

If your piece is above the threshold weight for hallmarking, by law it has to be sent to the assay office to receive a hallmark. This involves posting it out, waiting for hallmarking, and waiting for it to return via post too. This takes 1 week on average, and makes up around half of our lead time on custom pieces. Items that are listed as in stock are below the threshold or have already undergone this process

Do you accept returns?

Yes we accept returns within 14 days of delivery on all items except earrings (for hygiene reasons) and custom orders. See our T&Cs for more information.

Do your pieces come with a warranty?

Yes! We make every effort to ensure each piece is high quality and made to last. In the event of a material or manufacturers defect, contact us to confirm, and if agreed that there is a defect, we will repair or replace your item free of charge within 6 months from date of purchase. This warranty does not cover misuse or normal wear and tear. See our T&Cs for full details.

Can you make an item I like on the website in a different metal?

In many cases we can make our silver jewellery designs in 9ct white or yellow gold too. Just contact us to discuss if possible and then we can arrange a bespoke order.

How eco-friendly is your jewellery and packaging?

We endeavour to be as eco-friendly as possible in our entire process to minimise our impact. This is achieved:
a) through procurement of materials - we source as locally as possible, from reputable sellers within the UK and Europe. Our packaging is plastic free, recycled and recyclable (see our blog).
b) by using the Royal Mail in the UK for delivery, which has the lowest reported carbon emissions per parcel of any major parcel delivery service in the UK
c) by using recycled metals in our pieces - across all our designs we use more than 85% recycled silver, and the remaining 15% is responsibly sourced. We are working to increase our percentage of recycled metals towards 100%, and many of our pieces are already made from 100% recycled materials.
d) by seeking to use ethically and responsibly sourced gemstones in our designs. As gemstones are a natural resource, it is often very difficult to track their exact source as they are sold frequently and widely. However, we choose our suppliers based on their ethical principles as well as the beauty of their stones, and choose companies that obtain stones from miners & sellers that comply with local laws in the countries in which they operate. All of our new diamonds are purchased from a supplier which guarantees that their diamonds are conflict-free and adhere to the World Diamond Council System of Warranties (SoW) Guidelines.
e) by restoring second-hand and preloved pieces to their former glory, fewer resources are used in the breakdown and recovery process, and fewer new stones need to be mined. We also love repurposing old jewellery and stones!
f) by using traditional techniques which mostly involve elbow grease and hard work rather than power hungry gadgets!
